Morning – Setting the Tone.

A calm morning = a happier day

The morning has a funny way of setting the tone for everything that follows. A little breathing room goes a long way.

Find the light

A bright room filled with natural light will always feel calmer, and yes... it looks pretty lovely in photos too.

Give yourselves some space

You don't need a spotless room (it's a wedding morning, not a showroom), but clearing one little corner makes getting ready feel much less chaotic.

Don't schedule every minute

The best mornings have room for another cup of coffee, a deep breath, and a moment to take it all in before everything begins.

Keep it you

Whether that's a carefully curated playlist, pastries from your favourite bakery or everyone singing along to songs they definitely don't know the words to, those little rituals are what you'll remember.

The Ceremony – Your Moment

Take your time.

Don’t rush the walk.

Let yourself take in the space, the faces, the moment.

Stay present.

It’s normal for nerves to kick in, but this is your story. Look at each other, breathe, and just be in it.

Phones down.

If you’d prefer people to stay in the moment, ask your celebrant to mention it gently. It makes a real difference.

After the “I Do’s” – The Happy Chaos

You did it! There’s usually a flurry of hugs, tears, laughter, and champagne, soak it all up.

Steal five minutes together.

Right after the ceremony, sneak away just the two of you. Take a breath, hold hands, and let it sink in. You’re married.

Family photos made easy.

Give someone (who’s not in every photo!) a short list of group shots and let them help round people up. It keeps things quick and easy.

The Reception — Time to Enjoy It

The hard work’s done. This is your time to be with your people.

Trust your suppliers.

You’ve chosen good ones. Let us take care of the details so you can just live it.

Set the mood.

When the lights dim and the candles come on, the whole atmosphere changes. It’s intimate, warm, and always looks incredible in photos.

Be in it.

Don’t worry about what’s next. Eat, laugh, talk. Let the night happen naturally.

Evening.

When the party starts, so do some of my favourite photos.

This is the bit where the timeline goes out the window (in the best possible way).

Golden hour

If the timing's right, we'll sneak away for ten minutes while everyone else is busy topping up their drinks. No epic hike. No awkward posing. Just the two of you, a bit of fresh air, and that ridiculously flattering evening light doing most of the work.

After dark

Once the dance floor's warmed up, we'll nip outside for a few flash portraits. Think cool, editorial, and the kind of photos that make people ask, "Wait... when did you have time to do those?"

Bonus points if you've changed into a second outfit.

Then get back to the party.

Honestly, nobody remembers the perfect first dance steps. They remember the shoes coming off, someone attempting the worm, and that one friend who somehow ends up on everyone's shoulders.

Those are the photos you'll come back to.
